Overview:
Salary: $68,000- $100,000 Annually
A Scrum Coach at Suncoast Credit union is a servant leader who guides our delivery and execution teams operating in an agile framework. The Scrum Coach is a change agent with a focus on organizational effectiveness, improvement and development. This person will be a catalyst for change to optimize delivery and execution of complex, technical and business initiatives. Responsibilities:
Mentor and coach to delivery and execution team of Agile and Lean practices.
Manage the scrum process by removing impediments, safeguarding the team and framework, optimize the team’s ability to self-organize.
Actively monitor and seek to strengthen the overall health of the product backlog in attempt to keep a mature, properly sized backlog.
Exemplify the Agile values and principles in daily practices.
Coordinate and facilitate activities and ceremonies specific to the scrum team of an agile framework such as, daily stand up meetings, backlog grooming sessions, sprint retrospectives, etc.
Assess scrum maturity of the team and organization and coach to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
Use servant leadership to support the execution team with the primary goal of collaboration, trust, transparency and situational awareness.
Maintain awareness of the roles within the framework and identify gaps that would lead to anti-patterns.
Works with the agile team throughout the development, testing, and implementation phases to ??
Promotes continuous improvement and experimentation.
A leader ready with solutions and receiving new ideas.
Maintains knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting area of expertise. Attends educational events that will increase professional knowledge and be otherwise beneficial to the Credit Union. Completes annual BSA/AML Compliance Training and understands employee’s role in maintaining an effective BSA/AML compliance program, and completes FACT Act Red Flag training.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 3-5 years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach. Preference will be given to candidates who are First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM1).

Excellent business and technical knowledge of various products and applications (e.g. key features and functionalities, architecture, user groups, etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio, Jive, or other Enterprise Project Management software.
Strong knowledge of the SDLC (software development life cycle.)

Proven analytical skills: ability to take an investigative approach to understanding, visualizing, and analyzing a problem in order to find a solution.
Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the scrum approach.

Strong knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities.
Strong knowledge and understanding of all Credit Union computer systems and software applications required to perform job duties.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to interact professionally and effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators. Able to influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
Works independently with limited supervision.
