The HSPR Sales Coordinator group works as part of the sales team and is involved in promoting Daktronics products throughout the United States and Canada. Primary responsibilities include assisting the field sales staff with presenting Daktronics product options, taking inbound customer calls, providing timely and accurate quotes, and following up with customers and field staff on quotes and orders.

This position works with sales representatives who are based remotely within their customer’s regional geography. You’ll be expected to develop relationships and act with the customer in mind while following Daktronics practices.

Support HSPR sales staff in a specific region.
Ensure requests for quotes and orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner as well as coordinate responses to invitations for bids and requests for proposals (RFP). This requires attention to detail, coordination, and assignment of tasks which can include pre-bid meetings, proposal books, compiling all documents, and internal responses for submission within a hard deadline. Much of the work is sales focused and is done through email and phone communication.
There will be some administrative tasks related to entry into our various systems and databases. The overall processes for these tasks may be repetitive; accuracy and attention-to-detail is very important.

Communication with the people outside the Coordination team (customers, sales, administration, engineering, project management, and production) includes email, phone, video-conferencing, and in-person interaction in a courteous and professional manner.
There will be interruptions making you shift gears and focus on something new. You can come across requests you may have not experienced before, or don’t have the complete information on, but you are expected to stick with it until you figure it out, keeping a cool head and learning as you go. This is when the team environment is very helpful.
