GDIT’s Employee Relations Team has an opening for an Employee Relations Partner. In this role, you will be a key contributor to a world-class center of excellence team within our Human Resources division. This position offers 100% telework.
Tasks and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Conducts confidential internal workplace investigations and performance, conduct and workforce analysis reviews
Maintains accurate and timely case documentation by documenting findings in case management system
Effectively communicates investigative findings in written justifications and summaries
Completes analysis of data, partners with stakeholders, engages with Corporate Legal to provide recommendations to mitigate risk
Provides consultation on employee relations matters to organizational stakeholders and recommends disciplinary action and/or appropriate resolution
Assists managers in preparing for employee conversations, the preparation of corrective action documents and prepares and coordinates off-boarding documents and related activities for involuntary separations
Collaborates with Human Resources leadership to facilitate activities to positively enhance the GDIT employee experience by proactively addressing employee relations issues
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION for Bachelor’s Degree: 6+ years of related Human Resources experience
One year minimum experience conducting workplace investigations
U.S. citizenship is required to support classified employee groups
Skilled in Human Resources and employment law principles
Experience interacting with all levels of employees on employee relations issues
Experience consulting on multiple employee relations issues that vary in scope and complexity
Ability to manage a high volume of employee relations cases
Highly refined written and verbal communication skills
Strong conflict resolution skills
Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding employee information
Superior analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and virtual tools such as Zoom/Skype/Microsoft Teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish
Experience in a federal contracting environment
The likely salary range for this position is $52,000 – $78,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
