About UsWe are conveniently located off Route 3 on a beautiful 72-acre campus located on the Tyngsborough/Lowell line adjacent to Vesper Country Club. Our campus includes a 512,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility, 27,000 square foot new cafeteria and food service area, 13 state-of-the-art science labs and gymnasium, and a swimming pool. Students come to GLTHS from four communities: the city of Lowell, which sends approximately 80 percent of our students; Dracut, with about 15 percent, and the remainder from suburban Tyngsborough and Dunstable. Most enter the school as ninth graders, although some come in their sophomore year.
Although GLTHS is large, it is also a friendly school. At GLTHS, if you dream it, we will give you the tools to accomplish it. Here, we know that each one of us is unique. We come from different places.

Our student racial/ethnic background consists of 7.88% African American, 4.36% Multi-Race, 17.90% Asian, 36.11% Hispanic, 66.94% White, 1.70% Native American or Alaskan, and 1.22% Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander. 26.0% First Language not English, 17.3% Students with Disabilities, 48.3% Economically Disadvantaged, and 63.3% High Needs.
With a staff of over 350 FTE including teachers, professionals, administrators, and support staff serving 2300 students, an annual operating budget of over $50M in FY22, we are well resourced and supported to ensure students’ readiness for career, college, and citizenship. It is not to be considered all inclusive.Responsible for cleaning the facilities, including trash removal, floor cleaning, general cleaning, and sanitizing; sets up for school and miscellaneous events; and other related duties. The skills and abilities we are looking for: Ability to work independently on assignments and with peers. Ability to work well with individuals from manydiverse backgrounds and professions, as well as the student body.
Prior work experience required. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Ability to move and carry heavy loads; ability to climb stairs and ladders.This position schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
